Skylar has over 10 years of experience in operations, management, safety, and training in the maritime industry. In 2015, she graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Marine Transportation and a Third Mate Unlimited Tonnage License. She started her career at G&H Towing Company as a Mate of Towing and worked her way up to Relief Captain with a 1600-ton Captain’s License. She started at CPT in 2021 and has developed various training courses that have provided safety training for longshoremen across many ports. This includes heading up an entirely new operation for CPT in the Port of Tampa.
