Ashley graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Maritime Administration from Texas A&M University in May 2017. After graduation, she spent three years learning logistics at Kirby Inland Marine and scheduling vessels in and out of the Port of Houston for the Houston Pilots. Since May 2022, Ashley has been working with CP Tech, where she applies her expertise and passion for enhancing safety standards within the maritime industry. She holds a Safety, Security, and Health (SSH) certification in Port Safety and General Industry. Her dedication to fostering a safer work environment reflects her belief in the importance of safety for personnel and operations in all industries and workplaces. Ashley’s husband, Wesley, works at an Industrial Terminal and has witnessed two major accidents that could have been avoided if all parties involved had been appropriately trained. Her desire to see her husband and fellow industry workers come home daily is her motivation to spread safety awareness to all parties.
